Events to Suit

We have designed flexibility into the Silvermoon to host a wide variety of different events.  In these pages, we offer the most likely options, but those suggestions are not meant to be limiting.  Try us out with your out-of-the-box vision and see if we can flex to make your dreams come true.

Meetings

Whatever the format and atmosphere you have in mind, we can host your meeting for up to 140 in a single space in just chairs or fewer with conference tables.  Consider our Great Hall for up to 80 in a conference configuration or 140 with just chairs.  Our Theatre can provide more powerful and convenient presentation/AV options, while hosting a conference for 40 or just seating for up to 120 participants.  For a smaller (but more nicely appointed) meeting, try the Parlor for up to 40, or in conference configuration for up for up to 30.  We'll flex with your needs, if we can.  Meet me at the Silvermoon!

Dinners

From intimate to grand, from simple to lavish, dinners at the Silvermoon are bound to please.  Here, you need not buy food from us, and your food need not be cooked off site.  Once we approve whoever uses our first-class commercial kitchen, your food options range from premium caterers to economical volunteers . . . or turnkey food can be simply brought in.  Whatever you choose, we flex to meet your needs.  Our spacious Great Hall can host a seated dinner for up to 140.  The Courtyard can host as many as 60, the Lobbies as many as 48, and the Parlor up to 40.  It’s all as you decide.  Be our guest!

Live performance options and other audience-pleasing capabilities are among the Silvermoon’s unique strengths.  Of course, the Silvermoon Theatre is optimized for live performance in an intimate setting, with significant abilities beyond your expectations, given its size.  A wide variety of live performances can be carried off in style.  Be it live drama (with or without music), music performance (our handy loading dock can even handle a large piano), dance (our stage floor flexes to save your dancers' legs), other type of live performance, or even movies, we can accommodate.  Give the theatre a shot at your audience event for as many as 120.  We can probably do it.

The Silvermoon also shines at receptions and parties.  Use any individual space or mix and match our rooms to fulfill your vision for your gathering.  Our full commercial kitchen brings fabulous options to your party.  The Great Hall will receive up to 250 guests splendidly, while the adjacent Singer Courtyard can host an additional 130.  Add the connected Parlor for an additional 60 and even the Gallery/Lobby areas for as many as 100 more.  Come party with us!  We aim to please.

Dreaming of your big day?  Let us help.  We have been voted best indoor wedding venue in the Texarkana area by ALT readers for five straight years.  Not only can we host the wedding of bride and groom, but our spaces are perfect for the reception, and even the rehearsal dinner.  The largest wedding we can appropriately host would be in our Great Hall for 140 guests.  For a totally unique wedding, try our Theatre, where your ceremony could actually be showcased on stage under specialty lights and then buzzed about for years to come.  Many opt for an outdoor wedding for as many as 125 guests in our character-filled Courtyard.  For a classy and intimate event for as many as 50 guests, consider our historic, art-deco 1885 Parlor.  We specialize in putting bride and groom together.  Check out these special wedding-related images.

Need more space than any one of our spaces can accommodate?  Our flexible spaces can gang up for larger events.  So, if your event does not fit comfortably into just one of our spaces, try mixing and matching spaces.  Surprisingly, we can handle a gala reception or party for as many as 400 that spills from space to space.  To believe it, contact us to arrange for a walk-through.  Let your imagination run free.  Let us lasso the 'Moon for you!
